About this set
A direct replacement for the D3S halogen bulbs in your low beam. The pair puts out 25,000 lm at 5500K — a cool white close to daylight rather than the yellow cast of a filament.
Each bulb carries its own driver and an active fan, so the 45W it draws leaves the emitter instead of building up inside the housing. Heat is what shortens an LED bulb's life, and moving it out is the whole reason for the body being the size it is.
The CANBUS circuit is what keeps most cars from reporting a blown bulb after the swap. Some models with more sensitive diagnostics still need an adapter; ask us before ordering if you are not sure about yours.
Built for 12V systems. Not suitable for trucks, buses or anything else running 24V.

Switch off the ignition and let the headlight cool. Release the D3S halogen bulb, unclip the connector, and seat the SunX bulb in the same socket — the base is the same shape, so nothing needs modifying. Rotate the bulb so the two emitter faces sit left and right, matching where the halogen filament sat, then check the beam pattern against a wall before driving. The fan must be clear of the dust cap; if the cap will not close, a deeper cap or an extension ring is the fix, not forcing it.

Guarantee
